का. आ. 15 ( अ) . जल संसाधन मंत्रालय , भारत सरकार की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 437 ( अ ) , दिनांक 2 जून, 1990 द्वारा गठित कावेरी जल विवाद अधिकरण में न्यायमूर्ति श्री एस. डी. अग्रवाल के देहान्त के पश्चात सदस्य का पद रिक्त हुआ है:
और भारत के मुख्य न्यायमूर्ति ने अन्तर्राज्यीय नदी जल विवाद अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 33 ) की धारा 5 क के अन्तर्गत उक्त रिक्ति को भरने के लिए इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय के एक पीठासीन न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति श्री सुधीर नारायण अग्रवाल को नामित किया है;
अतः अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 5क के साथ पठित धारा 4 में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए उक्त अधिसूचना में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना की मद ( ii ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित मद शामिल होगा , अर्थात्:-
सदस्य" " ( ii ) न्यायमूर्ति श्री सुधीर नारायण अग्रवाल,. न्यायाधीश इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय

एम. क. शर्मा, आयुक्त ( परियोजना ) टिप्पणी. मुख्य अधिसूचना का.आ. 437 ( अ ) दिनांक 2-6-1990 के तहत 'भारत के राजपत्र असाधारण के भाग II . खण्ड 3 , उप खण्ड ( 11 ) , दिनांक 2-6-1990 में प्रकाशित हुई थी और तदुपरांत यह अधीसूचना सं. का.आ. 862(अ), दिनांक 11-12-1996 के द्वारा संशोधन करते हुए, भारत के राजपत्र असाधारण के भाग 11, खंड 3, उप खंड ( ii ) , दिनांक 11-12-1996 में प्रकाशित की गई थी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th January, 2003
S.O. 15 ( E) . Whereas a vacancy of Member has occurred in the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal , constitutedby the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Water Resources number S.O. 437 ( E) dated the 2nd June , 1990 , consequent on the demise of Shri Justice S.D. Agarwala:
And whereas , the Chief Justice of India has nominated Shri Justice Sudhir Narayan Agarwal . a sitting Judge of the Allahabad High Court to fill the said vacancy under Section 5A of the Inter - State River Water Disputes Act. 1956 (33 of 1956 ) ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4. read with Section 5A of the said Act , the Central Government hereby makes the following further anmendment in the said notification , namely :-
In the said notification , for item ( ii ) , the following item shall be substituted . namely
Member" "( ii ) Shri Justice Sudhir Narayan Agarwal . Judge of the Allahabad High Court
