का.आ. 39( अ ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट होते हुए कि ऐसा किया जाना आवश्यक है, केबल टेलीविजन नेटवर्क (विनियमन) अधिनियम , 1995 (' 1995 का 7 ) की धारा 9 के साथ पठित धारा 4 क की उपधारा ( 1 ) के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए जनवरी 2003 के 15वें दिन को उस तारीख के रूप में एतदद्वारा अधिसूचित करती है जिससे 6 महीने में प्रत्येक केबल आपरेटर के लिए निम्नलिखित विनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्र में एक संबोधन प्रणाली के जरिए प्रत्येक पे चैनल के कार्यक्रमों को प्रसारित/पुनः प्रसारित करना आवश्यक होगा, नामतः:-
1. चेन्नई महानगर क्षेत्र
2. ग्रेटर मुम्बई का नगरपालिका क्षेत्र
3. कोलकाता महानगर क्षेत्र
4. राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र, दिल्ली

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th January, 2003
S.O. 39 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 4A, read with Section 9 of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation ) Act, 1995 (7 of 1995 ), the Central Government, having been satisfied that it is necessary so to do, hereby notifies the 15th Day of January , 2003 as the date within six months from which it shall be obligatory for every cable operator to transmit/re - transmit programmes of every pay channel through an addressable system in the areas specified below, namely:-
1. Chennai Metropolitan area;
2. Municipal Council of Greater Mumbai area;
3. Kolkata Metropolitan area;
4. National Capital Territory ofDelhi .
