सा.का.नि. 33(अ ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार, विदेशी मुद्रा प्रबंध अधिनियम, 1999( 1999 का 42 ) की धारा 5 और धारा 46 की उपधारा (1 ) और उपधारा (2 ) के खण्ड ( क) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और रिजर्व बैंक के परामर्श से, लोकहित में इसे आवश्यक समझते हुए, विदेशी मुद्रा प्रबंध (चालू खाता संव्यवहार ) नियम, 2000 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम विदेशी मुद्रा प्रबंध ( चालू खाता संव्यवहार ) ( संशोधन) नियम, 2003है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे । 2. विदेशी मुद्रा प्रबंध ( चालू खाता संव्यवहार) नियम, 2000 में, नियम 6 के पश्चात्, निम्नलिखित अन्तः स्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात्: -
" 7. भारत के बाहर होते हुए अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय क्रेडिट कार्ड का उपयोग. नियम 5 में अंतर्विष्ट कोई बात किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा व्ययों को पूरा करने के संबंध में , जब ऐसा व्यक्ति भारत से बाहर यात्रा पर हो , संदाय करने के लिए अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय क्रेडिट कार्ड के उपयोग को लागू नहीं होगी।"
पाद टिप्प्ण: मूल नियम भारत के राजपत्र, भाग II , खंड 3 , उपखंड ( i ) मेंसा.का.नि. 381 (अ ) तारीख 3 मई, 2000 में प्रकाशित किया गया था और पश्चात्वर्ती उन्हें का.आ. 301 (अ) तारीख 30 मार्च , 2001 द्वारा संशोधित किया गया था ।

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi , the 15th January, 2003
G.S.R. 33(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 and Sub -section ( 1 ) and clause (a) of Sub- section (2 ) of Section 46 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , and in consultation with Reserve Bank, the Central Government having considered it necessary in the public interest, makes the following amendments in the Foreign Exchange Management (Current Account Transactions ) Rules, 2000, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.---( 1) These rules may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Current Account Transaction ) ( Amendment) Rules, 2003 .
(2) They shall come into force from the date oftheir publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Foreign Exchange Management ( Current AccountTransaction) Rules, 2000 , after rule 6, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:-
"7. Use of International Credit Card while outside India.--Nothing contained in rule 5 shall apply to the use ofInternational Credit Card for making payment by a person towards meeting expenses while such person is on a visit outside India . "
Foot note : The Principal rules were published in the Official Gazette vide G.S.R. 381 (E) dated 3rd May, 2000 in Part II , Section 3 , Sub -section ( i) and subsequently amended vide S.O. 301 (E) dated30th March, 2001 .
