का.आ. 91 (अ) . केन्द्रीय सरकार, केन्द्रीय मोटर यान (तीसरा संशोधन ) नियम , 2000 के नियम 1 के उप- नियम ( 2 ) के खंड ( ख) और केन्द्रीय मोटर यान ( दूसरा संशोधन ) नियम , 2001 के नियम 1 के उप- नियम ( ii ) के खंड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, 1 अप्रैल, 2003 को उस तारीख के रूप में नियत करती है, जिसको उक्त नियमों के उपबंध चार पहियों वाले यानों के सभी प्रवर्गों के बारे में सूरत और आगरा में प्रवृत्त होंगे :
परन्तुयह किकेन्द्रीय मोटर यान ( दूसरा संशोधन ) नियम, 2001 के उपबंध इस अधिसूचना के प्रभावी होने से , यथास्थिति, सूरत से गुजरात राज्य के अन्य भागों के लिए या आगरा से उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के अन्य भागों के लिए चलने वाले या उक्त शहरों की राज्य क्षेत्रीय अधिकारिता के भीतर अन्तर - राज्यीय अनुज्ञापत्रों या राष्ट्रीय अनुज्ञापत्रों या अखिल भारतीय पर्यटक अनुज्ञापत्रों पर चलने वाले " चार पहियों वाले परिवहन यानों " के बारे में प्रवृत्त नहीं होंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 27th January, 2003
S.O. 91 ( E ) .- In exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub -rule (2 ) of rule 1 of the Central Motor Vehicles (3rd Amendment ) Rules , 2000 and clause (b ) of sub - rule ( ii ) of rule Lof the Central Motor Vehicles ( 2nd Amendment ) Rules , 2001 , the Central Government hereby appoints the Ist day of April , 2003 as the date on which the provisions of the said rules shall come into force in Surat and Agra in respect of all categories of four wheeled vehicles:
Provided that the provisions of the Central Motor Vehicles (2nd Amendment ) Rules, 2001 shall not come into force with the effect of this notification in respect of the "Four Wheeled transport vehicles " plying from Surat to the other parts of the State of Gujarat or Agra to the other parts of the State of Utter Pradesh , as the case may be, or plying on Inter -State Permits or National Permits or on the All IndiaTourist Permits within the territorial jurisdiction ofthe said cities.
