सा.का.नि. 98 ( अ ) .- अभिहित प्राधिकारी , कोरिया आर पी, थाइलैण्ड तथा इंडोनेशिया , में उदगमित या वहां से निर्यात किए गए प्योर टेरेप्थेलिक एसिड ( पीटीए ) जिस पर की अधिसूचना सं. 13/ 98 - सीमाशुल्क, तारीख 28 अप्रैल , 1998 तथा सं. 22/2000- सीमाशुल्क, तारीख 11 जुलाई, 2000, के अधीन प्रतिपाटन शुल्क अधिरोपित किया गया था, के आयात के मामले में भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग 1 , खण्ड 1 , तारीख 22 मई, 2002 में प्रकाशित अपनी अधिसूचना सं. 14/9/2002 -डीजीएडी के तहत प्रतिपाटन शुल्क जारी रखने के मामले में समीक्षा आरम्भ की है और समीक्षा के सम्पन्न होने तक, प्रतिपाटन शुल्क को और 3 महीने की अवधि के लिए बढ़ाने का आग्रह किया है ;
अंतः अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, सीमाशुल्क टैरिफ ( पाटित्त वस्तुओं की पहचान , उन पर प्रतिपाटित शुल्क का निर्धारण और संग्रहण तथा क्षति का अवधारण ) नियम , 1995 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित सीमाशुल्क टैरिफ अधिनियम, 1975 ( 197.5 का 51 ) की धारा 9 क की उपधारा ( 1 ) और उपधारा (5 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह निदेश देती है कि भारत सरकार के तदेन वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की, इससे उपाबद्ध सारणी के स्तंभ ( 2 ) मे विनिर्दिष्ट , प्रत्येक अधिसूचना का, उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 3 ) की तत्स्थानी प्रत्रिष्टि में इंगित रीति से संशोधन किया जाएगा ।

No. 24/2003-CUSTOMS
G. S. R. 98 ( E) . Whereas the designated authority vide its notification No. 14/9 /2002 - DGAD published in Part I , Section 1 of the Gazette of India , Extraordinary , dated the 22nd May, 2002, has initiated review in the matter of continuation of anti-dumping duty on Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) , originating in , or exported - from , Korea RP, Thailand and Indonesia, imposed vide notifications of the Government of India , in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) , No. 13/98 - Customs , dated the 28th April , 1998 and No. 99/2000-Customs dated the 11th July, 2000, and has requested for extension of antidumping duty for a further period of three months , pending the completion of the review;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) and ( 5 ) of Section 9A ofthe Customs Tariff Act, 1975 ( 51 of 1975 ) , read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff ( Identification , Assessment and Collection ofAnti -dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 the Central Government hereby directs that the notifications ofthe Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) , specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended , or further amended, as the case may be , in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3 ) of the said Table .
