No. 6/2003- Central Excise ( N.Τ. ) नई दिल्ली, 11 फरवरी , 2003 सं. 6/2003 -के.उ.शु. ( गै.टै. )
सा.का.नि. 102( अ ) केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 37 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार, एतद्वारा ऐसी चीजों को छोड़कर जिन्हें ऐसे संशोधन से पहले किया गया हो अथवा न किया गया हो, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियमावली, 2002 में और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्: -
G.S.R. 102( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 37 of the Central Excise Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944), theCentral Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules , 2002 , hereinafter referred to as the said rules , except as respect things done or omitted tobe done before such amendment , namely :-
1. ( i ) These rules may be called the Central Excise (FirstAmendment) Rules , 2003 .
1. (i ) इन नियमों को केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क ( प्रथम संशोधन ) नियमावली, 2003 कहा जाए ।
( ii ) यह 12 फरवरी , 2003 से लागूहोगी ।
( ii) This shall come into force on 12th day of February 2003 .
2. उक्त नियमावली में नियम 32 को समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा ।

Note: The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India vide notification No. 4/2002- CE (NT ) dated the 1st March , 2002 [ GSR No. 143 ( E ) dated 1-3-2002].
