आ. अ. 6 ( अ).--निर्वाचन प्रतीक ( आरक्षण और आबंटन ) आदेश, 1968 के पैरा 17 के अनुसरण में, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग इसके द्वारा अपनी अधिसूचना सं. 56/ 2003 /न्यायिक- III दिनांक 22 जनवरी , 2003 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करता है अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना से संलग्न सारणी IV ( मुक्त प्रतीकों की सूची ) में " कुर्सी " प्रविष्टि त्रिपुरा राज्य विधान सभा के चालू साधारण निर्वाचन के प्रयोजन के लिए त्रिपुरा राज्य के लिए मुक्त प्रतीक के रूप में जोड़ा जाएगा ।
त्रिपुरा के मुक्त प्रतीकों की सूची में " कुर्सी" प्रतीक को शामिल कर लिया जाना 31 जनवरी, 2003 से विनिर्दिष्ट किया गया माना जाएगा और राज्य में चालू साधारण निर्वाचन सम्पन्न होने तक ही लागू रहेगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th February, 2003
O. N. 6(E) .- In pursuance of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968 , the Election Commission of India hereby makes the following further amendment to its Notification No. 56/2003 /Jud. -III , dated 22nd January, 2003 , namely:-
InTable IV (List of free symbols ) , appended to the said Notification , the entry " Chair " shall be added as free symbol for the State of Tripura for the purposes of the current general election to the Tripura State Legislative Assembly. The inclusion of the symbol " Chair" in the list offree symbol for Tripura shall be deemed to have been so specified with effect from 31st January, 2003, and shall be in force only till the completion of the current general election in the State.
