सं.टीएएमपी/86/2002-वीपीटी. म न्यास अधिनियम , 1963 ( 1963 का 38) की धारा 49 द्वारा प्रदत्त अधिकारों का प्रयोग करते हुए महापत्तन प्रशुल्क प्राधिकरण एतद्वारा ' गैंग वे ' के लिए किराया प्रभार निर्धारित करने संबंधी विशाखापट्णभ पत्तन न्यास के प्रस्ताव का संलग्न आदेशानुसार निपटान करता है ।

संबंधित है । यह मामला ' गैंग वे ' के लिए किराया प्रभार निर्धारित करने के बारे में विशाखापट्णम पत्तन न्यास ( वीपीटी ) से प्राप्त प्रस्ताव से 2. वीपीटी ने अपने प्रस्ताव में उल्लेख किया है कि वर्तमान दरमान में ' गैंग वे ' के किराया प्रभार नहीं दिए गए हैं । परंतु, पिछले दरमान में ' गँग वे ' उपलब्ध कराने के लिए 10 रुपए प्रति घंटा किराया प्रभार दिया गया है । अतः वीपीटी ने इस प्राधिकरण से अनुरोध किया है कि पिछले सामान्य संशोधन के समय प्राधिकरण ने अन्य उपस्कर के मामले में संशोधन पूर्व दरों पर 15 % वृद्धि को अनुमोदन दिया था; उसी के अनुसरण में ' गैंग वे' के किराया प्रभारों में भी 15 % वृद्धि ( अर्थात् 10 रुपए प्रति घंटा से बढ़ाकर 11.50 रुपए प्रति घंटा) प्रदान करें ।
3. वीपीटी ने प्रस्ताव को ' मामला ' के रूप में पंजीकृत किया गया है; और निर्धारित विचार- विमर्श प्रक्रिया के अनुसार संबंधित पत्तन उपभोक्ताओं/प्रतिनिधि संस्थाओं से विचार- विमर्श किया गया था ।
4. इस मामले में 21 जनवरी, 2003 को एक संयुक्त सुनवाई आयोजित की गई थी जिसमें सभी संबंधित उपभोक्ता और वीपीटी के अधिकारी उपस्थित थे । इस संयुक्त सुनवाई में, वीपीटी ने अपने प्रस्ताव को वापस लेने के निर्णय की घोषणा की । बीपीटी के इस निर्णय के मद्देनजर, यह मामला वापस लिया गया मानकार बन्द किया जाता है ।

No. TAMP/86/2002 - VPT.--In exercise of the powers conferredby Section 49 ofthe Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963) , the TariffAuthority for Major Ports hereby disposes of the proposal of the Visakhapatnam Port Trust relating to fixation of hire charges for gangway as in the Order appended hereto.

gangway. This case relates to a proposal received from the Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) about fixation ofhire charges for 2. The VPT has mentioned in its proposal that the existing Scale of Rates does not specify the hire charges for gangway. Ahire charge ofRs . 10 per hour, however, existed in the previous Scale of Rates for providing gangway. It has, therefore, requested this Authority to accord 15% increase in the hire charges for gangway i.e. from Rs . 10 per hour to Rs. 11.50 per hour in line with the 15 % increase approved by this Authority over the pre- revised rates in respect ofother equipment at the time of the last general revision .
3. The proposal of the VPT has been registered as a ' case ' ; and, in accordance with the consultative procedure prescribed, the concerned port users/representative bodies were consulted.
4. Ajoint hearing in this case was held on 21st January, 2003 where all the concerned users and the VPT officials were present .At the joint hearing, the VPT announced its decision to withdraw its proposal . In view of this decision ofthe VPT, this case is closed as withdrawn .
