नई दिल्ली, 25 फरवरी, 2003 सं. 16/2003-एन.टी.-सीमा शुल्क का.आ. 224( अ ).- सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम, 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 14 की उपधारा ( 3 ) के खण्ड ( क) के उपखण्ड ( ii ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार, वित्त और कम्पनी कार्य मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं. 9/2003- एन.टी.-सीमा शुल्क, दिनांक 28 जनवरी, 2003 [का.आ. 96 (अ ) ] दिनांक 28 जनवरी , 2003 को अधिक्रांत करते हुए आयातित माल के संबंध में बोर्ड, एतद्वारा , उक्त धारा के प्रयोजनों के लिए, यह अवधारित करती है कि इसके साथ संलग्न अनुसूची-1 और अनुसूची- II के स्तम्भ (2) में विनिर्दिष्ट प्रत्येक विदेशी करेंसी से भारतीय करेंसी में या भारतीय करेंसी से विदेशी करेंसी में संपरिवर्तन के लिए विनिमय दर 1 मार्च, 2003 से वह दर होगी जो उसके स्तम्भ ( 3 ) में, तत्स्थानी प्रविष्टिमें वर्णित है:-

S.O. 224( E ).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause ( i ) of clause (a) of sub- section ( 3 ) of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962 ) and in supersession ofthe notification of the Government of India in the Ministry ofFinance and Company Affairs (Department of Revenue ) No. 9/2003 -NT- Customs , dated the 28th January, 2003 [ S.O. 96 (E) dated the 28th January, 2003 ] , the Board hereby determines for the purposes of said section , relating to imported goods , that the rate of exchange of conversion of cach of the foreign currency specified in column (2 ) of cach of Schedule I and Schedule II appended hereto into Indian currency or vice versa shall , with effect from the 1st March, 2003 , be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry in column (3 ) thereof.
