अधिसूचना नई दिल्ली, 12 नवम्बर, 2003
का.आ. 1300 ( अ ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, बीज अधिनियम, 1966 (1966 का 54 ) की धारा 4 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद्, नागपुर के अधीन केन्द्रीय कपास अनुसंधान संस्थान की प्रयोगशाला को इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से पूरे भारत के लिए उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन बिनौला में सी.आर.वाई. 1 एसी. जीन की विद्यमानता अथवा अनुपस्थिति सुनिश्चित करने के कृत्यो को कार्यान्वित करने के लिए केन्द्रीय बीज प्रयोगशाला के रूप में घोषित करती है ।
S.O. 1300(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section ( 1 ) of Section 4 ofthe Seeds Act, 1966 ( 54 of 1966) , the Central Government hereby declares the laboratory of Central Institute of Cotton Research ( CICR), Indian Council of Agricultural Research ( ICAR) , Nagpur as the Central Seed Laboratory to carry out the functions ofascertaining the presence or absence of Cry . IAC gene inCotton seeds ander the said Act with effect from the date of publication for the whole of India .
2. Inpursuance of clause (c) of rule 5 of the Seeds Rules , 1968 , the Central Government also entrusts the Central Institute of Cotton Research , Indian Council of Agricultural Research , Nagpur to act as a referral laboratory forBacillus thuringiensis Cotton seeds (Bt . Cotton seeds) .
2. बीज नियम, 1968 के नियम 5 के खण्ड ( ग ) के अनुसरण में, केन्द्रीय सरकार, भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद्, नागपुर के अधीन केन्द्रीय कपास अनुसंधान संस्थान को बैसिलस थुरिन्जिएन्सिस बिनौला (बी.टी. बिनौला) के लिए संदर्भ प्रयोगशाला के रूप में कार्य करने का काम भी सौंपती है ।
