सा.का.नि. 902(अ) .- केन्द्रीय सरकार सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अधिनियम, 2000 (2000 का 21 ) की धारा 87 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (प्रमाणनकर्ता प्राधिकारी) नियम, 2000 में संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ (1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (प्रमाणनकर्ता प्राधिकारी)
(संशोधन) नियम, 2003 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (प्रमाणनकर्ता प्राधिकारी) नियम, 2000 में, -
(क) ( i) " कार्य निष्पादन बंधपत्र देने या बैंकर की प्रत्याभूति प्रस्तुत करेंगे " शब्दों के स्थान पर, जहाँ जहाँ वे
आते हैं " बैंकर की प्रत्याभूति के प्ररुप में कार्यनिष्पादन बंधपत्र प्रस्तुत करेंगे " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
(ii) " बैंकर प्रत्याभूति कार्यनिष्पादन बंधपत्र " शब्दों के स्थान पर जहाँ जहाँ वे आते हैं " बैंकर प्रत्याभूति के
प्ररुप में कार्य निष्पादन बंधपत्र" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
(ख) नियम 8 के उपनियम (2) में
" पांच करोड़" शब्दों के स्थान पर " पचास लाख " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ; (i)

[PART II-SEC . 3 (i ) ) (ii) परंतुक में दस करोड़" शब्दों के स्थान पर " एक करोड़" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
(ग) नियम 14 के उपनियम (2) में प्रस्तुत निष्पादन बंधपत्र या दी गई बैंकर प्रत्याभूति " शब्दों के स्थान पर "बैंकर प्रत्याभूति के प्ररुप में दिया गया निष्पादन बंधपत्र" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
(घ) अनुसूची 1 के क्रमसंख्यांक 33 में, " बैंक प्रत्याभूति/निष्पादन बंधपत्र" शब्दों के स्थान पर " बैंक
प्रत्याभूति के प्ररूप में निष्पादन बंध पत्र " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 21st November , 2003
G.S.R. 902(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 87 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the information Technology ( Certifying Authorities) Rules , 2000 , namely
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Information Technology (Certifying Authorities ) (Amendment) Rules , 2003.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Information Technology ( Certifying Authorities ) Rules , 2000, -
(a) (i ) for the words " submit a performance bond or furnish a banker's guarantee" , Wherever they occur, the words " furnish a performance bond in the form of a banker's guarantee " shall be substituted;
( ii ) for the words " performance bond of banker's guarantee " wherever they occur, the words " performance bond in the form of banker's guarantee " shall be substituted;
(b) in rule 8, in sub - rule (2), -
(i ) for the words " five crores " ,the words " fifty lakhs " shall be substituted;

(ii ) in the proviso , for the words " ten crores " , the words "one crore " shall be. substituted;
(c) in rule 14, in sub- rule (2) , for the words " performance bond submitted or the banker's guarantee furnished " , the words "performance bond in the form of banker's guarantee furnished " shall be substituted ;
(d) inSchedule I, in serial number 33 , for the words " Bank Guarantee/Performance Bond", the words " performance bond in the form of banker's guarantee " shall be substituted .
