का.आ. 1359(अ) .-भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् अधिनियम, 1984 ( 1984 का 52 ) की धारा 7 के साथ पठित खण्ड 3 के उप खण्डों ( 1 ) , ( 3 ) तथा (6 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, उक्त अधिनियम के खण्ड 3 के उप खण्ड ( 3 ) की धारा ( क) के अन्तर्गत डा. एम.सी. राजामणीक्कम, निदेशक, पशुपालन एवं पशु कल्याण, पाण्डिचेरी को उक्त अधिनियम के खण्ड 6 के उप खण्ड ( 1 ) की धारा ( ख ) के अनुसार डा. अलफ्रेड नानो एल. , निदेशक, पशुपालन एवं पशु कल्याण जिनकी सेवा भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् के सदस्य के रूप में समाप्त हो गई है, के बदले में बाकी अवधि के लिए एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम के खण्ड 3 के उप खण्ड (3 ) की धारा ( क ) के अन्तर्गत भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् के सदस्य के रूप में नामित करती है तथा उक्त प्रयोजन के लिए कृषि मंत्रालय ( पशुपालन एवं डेयरी विभाग ) के दिनांक 8 जुलाई , 2003 की संख्या का. आ. 772( अ) में भारत सरकार की अधिसूचना में संशोधन करती है , नामतः --
उक्त अधिसूचना में, क्रम सं. 5 तथा उससे संबन्धित प्रविष्टि के लिए, निम्नलिखित क्रम सं. तथा प्रविष्टियों को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, नामतः :-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 27th November, 2003
S.O. 1359 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -sections ( 1 ) , (3) and (6) of Section 3 read with Section 7, ofthe IndianVeterinary Council Act , 1984 (52 of 1984 ) , the Central Government hereby nominates Dr. M.C. Rajamanickam , Director , Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare, Pondicherry as a member ofthe Veterinary Council of India under clause ( a) of sub - section (3 ) of Section 3 of the said Act, for the remainder of the term of Dr. Alfred Gnanou L. , who ceases to be a member of the Veterinary Council of India as Director of Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare as per clause (b) of sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 6 of the said Act and for the said purpose amends notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying ) Numher S.O. 772 (E ) , dated the 8th July, 2003 , namely
Inthe said notification , for serial number 5, and entry relating thereto , the following serial number and entries shall be substituted , namely :-
