In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses ( i) and ( ii ) of section 133 of the Finance Act, 2002 (20 of 2002), the Central Government hereby further amends the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 58/2003 - CENTRAL EXCISE (N.T. ) , dated the 22nd July, 2003 , published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary , Part II , section 3 , sub - section (i ) vide G.S.R 560 (Ε) dated the 22nd July, 2003, namely: -
In the said notification , for the figures, letters and words " 1 day of December, 2003 " , the figures , letters and words " 1 day of January , 2004 " shall be substituted.

No. 171 / 2003- CUSTOMS
G.S.R. 918 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) ofsection 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue ) , vide No. 115 /2003 -CUSTOMS, dated the 22nd July, 2003 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub -section (i) vide G.S.R.574 (E), dated the 22nd July, 2003 , namely: -
In the said notification, in the paragraph 2, for the figures , letters and words , " 1 * day ofDecember, 2003 " , the figures , letters and words " 1ª day of January, 2004 " shall be substituted.
