का.आ. 6 (अ ).-नई दिल्ली नगर पालिका परिषद् अधिनियम , 1994 ( 1994 का 44 ) की धारा 4 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा , नई दिल्ली क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत पूर्णतः या अंशतः आने वाले निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के प्रतिनिधियों श्रीमती शीला दीक्षित, श्रीमती ताजदार बाबर और श्री अशोक आहूजा को, उस निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से नई दिल्ली नगर पालिका परिषद् के सदस्य अधिसूचित करती है जिससे उक्त व्यक्ति दिसम्बर, 2003 में आयोजित आम चुनावों के आधार पर दिल्ली की विधान सभा के लिए निर्वाचित घोषित किये गये हैं और इस प्रयोजन के लिए भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय की दिनांक 22 दिसम्बर, 2000 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1139 ( अ ) में, इस अधिसूचना के सरकारी राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से, निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्: -
उक्त अधिसूचना में, " धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख ) के अधीन निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले सदस्य " शीर्षक के अंतर्गत उल्लिखित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां प्रतिस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-
-सदस्य " ( 2 ) श्रीमती शीला दीक्षित , मुख्यमंत्री, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र, दिल्ली
-सदस्य (3) श्रीमती ताजदार बाबर, विधायक, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र , दिल्ली
-सदस्य" (4) श्री अशोक आहूजा, विधायक, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र , दिल्ली

पी. के. जलाली, संयुक्त सचिव टिप्पणी:- मूल अधिसूचना भारत के राजपत्र में दिनांक 22 दिसम्बर, 2000 की संख्या का. आ. 1139 ( अ ) के तहत प्रकाशित की गई थी और तत्पश्चात् इसमें दिनांक 31 जनवरी , 2001 की संख्या का.आ. 86 ( अ ) , दिनांक 23 मई, 2001 की संख्या का.आ. 454 ( अ ) , दिनांक 10 अक्तूबर, 2002 की संख्या का. आ. 1082 ( अ ) , दिनांक 24 जून, 2003 की संख्या का.आ. 726( अ ) तथा दिनांक 8 दिसम्बर, 2003 की संख्या का.आ. 1412 ( अ ) के तहत संशोधन किया गया था ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st January , 2004
S.O. 6 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b ) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 4 of the New Delhi Municipal Council Act, 1994 (44 of 1994 ), the Central Government hereby notifies Smt . Sheila Dikshit, Smt . Tajdar Babbar, and Shri Ashok Ahuja to be the Members of the Council representing the constituencies which comprise wholly or partly the New Delhi area from which the said persons have been declared elected to the Legislative Assembly of Delhi on the basis of general elections held in December , 2003 and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs No. S.O. 1139 (E) dated the 22nd December , 2000 witheffect from the date ofpublication of this Notification in the Official Gazette , namely :-
In the said Notification under the heading "Members representing the constituencies under clause (b) of Sub- section ( 1) of Section 4 " for the entries the following entries shall be substituted , namely :-
-Member "(2) Smt. Sheila Dikshit , Chief Minister, National Capital Territory ofDelhi
-Member (3) Smt . Tajdar Babbar, Member of Legislative Assembly , National Capital Territory ofDelhi
-Member" (4) Shri Ashok Ahuja, Member of Legislative Assembly , National Capital Territory of Delhi
