निजी नियोजन के आधार पर भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक को " 4.69 प्रतिशत सरकारी स्टाक , 2008 " की बिक्री फा. सं. 4( 8 )-डब्ल्यू. एण्ड एम./2003.- भारत सरकार एतद्वारा 6,500 करोड़ रूपए (नामिनल) की कुल राशि के "4.69 प्रतिशत सरकारी स्टाक, 2008 " (जिसे इसके बाद " सरकारी स्टाक" के रूप में उल्लिखित किया गया है) की बिक्री को इस अधिसूचना (जिसे विशिष्ट अधिसूचना कहा गया है) में उल्लिखित शर्तों के साथ- साथ भारत सरकार द्वारा जारी की गई सामान्य अधिसूचना एफ.संख्या 4(9) /डब्ल्यू.एण्ड.एम./2000 दिनांक 6 मई, 2002 में विर्निदिष्ट शर्तों के अनुसार अधिसूचित करती है । निवेश के लिए पात्रता
2. सरकारी स्टाक में केवल भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ( जिसे इसके पश्चात " बैंक " के रूप में उल्लिखित किया गया है) ही अभिदान करने के लिए पात्र होगा ।
निर्गम की विधि
3. (i) सरकारी स्टाक निजी नियोजन के आधार पर केवल भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक को आबंटित किया जाएगा । (ii ) सरकारी स्टाक की बिक्री भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक, फोर्ट, मुंबई-400001 के माध्यम से की जाएगी ।

4. सरकारी स्टाक 100.00 रुपए प्रतिशत के मूल्य परजारी किया जाएगा ।
आवेदन-पत्र
5. चाहिए । आवेदन- पत्र भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा 2 जनवरी , 2004 को उपर्युक्त कार्यालय में प्रस्तुत किया जाना निर्गम की तारीख
6. सरकारी स्टाक के निर्गम की तारीख 2 जनवरी , 2004 होगी ।
अवधि
7. स्टाक चार वर्ष की अवधि का होगा जो 2 जनवरी, 2004 से प्रारम्भ होगी ।
ब्याज
8. स्टाक की अवधि प्रारंभ होने की तारीख से स्टाक के नामिनल मूल्य पर 4.69 प्रतिशत प्रतिवर्ष की दर से ब्याज उपचित होगा और इसका भुगतान अर्ध- वार्षिक रूप से 2 जुलाई और 2 जनवरी को किया जाएगा । वापसी-अदायगी की तारीख
9. सरकारी स्टाक की वापसी-अदायगी सममूल्य पर 2 जनवरी , 2008 को होगी ।
सरकारी स्टाक की हस्तांतरणीयता
10. उपरोक्त पैरा 2 में दिए गए विवरण के बावजूद भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा सरकारी स्टाक का बैंक, निगम अथवा किसी अन्य निकाय सहित किसी अन्य व्यक्ति के पक्ष में हस्तांतरण किए जाने पर कोई प्रतिबंध नहीं होगा और ऐसी प्रतिभूति का हस्तांतरिती भी इसका इसी तरीके से धारण और हस्तांतरण करने का पात्र होगा ।

Sale of " 4.69 per cent Government Stock, 2008 " to Reserve Bank of India on Private placement basis
F. No. 4(8) -W& M/ 2003.- Government of India hereby notifies sale of 4,69 per cent Government Stock , 2008 (hereinafter referred to as ' Government Stock ' ) for an aggregate amount of Rs.6,500 crore (nominal) as per the terms and conditions spelt out in this notification (called 'Specific Notification ') as also the terms and conditions specified in the General Notification F.No. 4(9)-W & M/2000 dated the 6th May , 2002 issued by Government of India as amended from time to time.
Eligibility for Investment
2. Only the Reserve Bank of India ( hereinafter referred to as ' the Bank ' ) shall be eligible to subscribe to the Government Stock .
Method of isue
3. ( i ) Government Stock will be allotted on private placement basis to the Reserve Bank of India alone .
( ii ) Government Stock will be sold through Reserve Bank of India , Mumbai Office , Fort , Mumbai 400 001 .
Issue Price
4. The Government Stock will be issued at Rs.100.00 per cent .
Application
5. The application should be submitted by the Reserve Bank of India at the aforesaid office on January 2, 2004 .
Date of issue
6. The date of issue of Government Stock will be January 2, 2004 .

7. The Government Stock will be of four year tenure commencing from January 2 , 2004 . Interest
8. Interest at the rate of 4.69 per cent per annum on the nominal value of the Stock will be payable from the date of commencement of tenure and will be paid half yearly on July 2 and January 2.
Date of Repayment
9. The Government Stock will be repaid at par on January 2 , 2008 .
Transferability of Government Stock
10 . Notwithstanding what is stated in Paragraph 2 hereinabove , there will be no restriction on the transfer of the Government Stock by the Reserve Bank of India in favour of any other person including banks , corporations or any other body and the transferee of such security would also be entitled to hold and transfer the same in such manner .

6 . सरकारी स्टाक के निर्गम की तारीख 2 जनवरी , 2004 होगी ।

7. स्टाक पन्द्रह वर्ष की अवधि का होगा जो 2 जनवरी , 2004 से प्रारम्भ होगी ।
ब्याज
