Shares: Election-2004 : 96.-Notice is hereby given that a General Meeting of the shareholders of State Bank ofMysore will be held at Woodlands Hotel Pvt. Ltd. , No. 5, RajaRam Mohan Roy Road, Bangalore-560025 on Friday, 13th February, 2004 at 11.00 a.m. (IST) for the purpose of electing two persons to be Directors on the Board of the Bank in pursuance of Section 25 (1 ) (d) of State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act, 1959 ( hereinafter referredto as ' the Act ' ) , in place of ( 1 ) Shri R. Umachander and (2) Shri K. Sundaram, who have since resigned as Directors of the Bank in terms Section 28 (b ) of the aforesaid Act. In terms of Section 26(2) ibid, they are eligible for re-election.
सं. शेयर: निर्वाचन-2004: 96.-सूचित किया जाता है कि स्टेट बैंक ऑफ मैसूर के शेयरधारकों की सामान्य सभा वुडलैंड्स होटल प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, सं . 5, राजा राम मोहन राय रोड़, बेंगलूर-560025 में शुक्रवार, 13 फरवरी, 2004 को पूर्वाह्न 11 बजे ( भारतीय मानक समय ) पर भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ( सहयोगी बैंक) अधिनियम, 1959 ( इसके बाद इसे ' अधिनियम ' कहा जाए ) की धारा 25 ( 1 ) ( घ ) के अनुसरण में 1. श्री आर. उमाचन्द्रन, तथा 2. श्री के. सुन्दरम, जिन्होंने उक्त कथित अधिनियम की धारा 28 ( ख ) की शर्तों के अनुसार निदेशक पद से त्याग पत्र दे दिया है, के स्थान पर निदेशक मंडल में दो व्यक्तियों को निदेशक रूप में चयन हेतु चुनाव किया गया । उक्त नियम की धारा 26 (2 ) की शर्तों के अनुसार वे पुनः चयीत होने के पात्र हैं ।

2:-
1. The calendar of events for conduct of the election and the General Meeting has been displayed on the Notice Board at the Bank's Head Office.
1. बैंक के प्रधान कार्यालय के सूचना पट्ट पर सामान्य सभा और चुनाव के संचालन कार्य- कलापों का कैलेंडर प्रदर्शित किया गया है ।
2. उपर्युक्त रिक्तियों के लिए केवल दो वैद्य नामांकन प्राप्त होने की वा में, अभ्यर्थियों का वैधिक नामांकन ऐसी रिक्तियों के लिए चीत समझा जाएगा और कोई चुनाव नहीं होगा एवं भारतीय स्टेटबैंक ( सहयोगी बैंक ) सामान्य अधिनियम, 1959 के विनियम 33(1) की शर्तों से उक्त सामान्य सभा को रद्द समझा जाएगा । चयनित अभ्यर्थियों के नाम एवं पते सामान्य सभा के पर्याप्त समय पाले शीर्ष समाचार पत्रों में प्रकाशित किये जाएंगे ।
2. In the event of receipt of only two valid nominations for the above vacancies , the candidates validly nominated for such vacancies shall be deemed to be elected and there shall not be any elections and the above General Meeting shall stand cancelled in terms ofRegulation 33 ( 1 ) of the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks ) General Regulations, 1959. The names and addresses of the candidates so elected will be published well before the date fixed for the General Meeting in leading newspapers. 14GI/2004
