S.O. 59(E)-In exercise of powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 2.1 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy , 2002-2007 , as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Chapter - 27 Licensing Notes ofthe ITC (HS ) Classifications of Export and Import Items , 2002-2007 published on 31st March , 2002 as amended from time to time:
सं. 27 ( आर ई -2004 ) / 1992-2007 का.आ. 59(अ) .- समय- समय पर यथासंशोधित निर्यात और आयात नीति 2002-2007 के पैरा 2.1 और 4.1 के साथ पठित विदेश व्यापार ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1992 ( 1992 की सं. 22 ) की धारा 5 के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्वारा समय- समय पर यथासंशोधित 31 मार्च, 2002 को प्रकाशित निर्यात और आयात मदों के आई टी सी ( एच एस ) वर्गीकरण 2002-2007 की लाइसेंसिंग टिप्पणी के अध्याय 27 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है:-

आयात लाइसेंसिंग टिप्पणी ( 1 ) को निम्नानुसार पढ़ा जाएगा:
Import ofNaptha is free. The provisions as stipulated forimport ofNaptha for use in the power sector vide Public Notice No. 57 (PN)/ 1997-2002 dated 5th December, 1997 stands withdrawn with immediate effect and the withdrawal will be applicable only prospectively from the date of issue ofthisNotification . Further, the above change will not alter the position of applicability of the provisions of other statutory provisions relevant to the subject .
नेप्था का आयात मुक्त रूप से किया जा सकता है । सार्वजनिक सूचना संख्या 57 ( पीएन )/ 1997-2002 दिनांक 5 दिसम्बर, 1997 द्वारा ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में उपयोग हेतु नेप्था को आयात करने के लिए यथानिर्धारित प्रावधानों को तत्काल प्रभाव से हटा दिया गया है तथा यह निरस्तीकरण इस अधिसूचना के जारी होने की तारीख से ही लागू होगा । इसके अलावा, उपर्युक्त परिवर्तन से इस विषय से संबंधित अन्य सांविधिक प्रावधानों की व्यवस्थाओं के लागू होने की स्थिति में परिवर्तन नहीं होगा ।
