सा.का.नि. 181 (अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार, भारत- तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल अधिनियम, 1992 ( 1992 का 35 ) की धारा 156 की उपधारा (2 ) के खंड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत - तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल मोटर परिवहन और मोटर मैकेनिक काडर ( समूह ' ख' और समूह ' ग ' पद ) भर्ती नियम , 1999 का संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्: -
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारत - तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल मोटर परिवहन और मोटर मैकेनिक काडर ( समूह ' ख ' और समूह ' ग ' पद ) भर्ती ( संशोधन ) नियम, 2004 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारत- तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल मोटर परिवहन और मोटर मैकेनिक काडर ( समूह ' ख ' और समूह ' ग ' पद ) भर्ती नियम , 1999 की अनुसूची में कांस्टेबल ( ड्राइवर ) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 4 के सामने,-
(क) स्तंभ 11 में, विद्यमान प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जायेगी , अर्थात्:-
" 100 प्रतिशत सीधी भर्ती द्वारा, जिसके न हो सकने पर प्रतिनियुक्ति/आमेलन । " द्वारा ,-
(ख) स्तंभ 12 में, विद्यमान प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात्:-
" प्रतिनियुक्ति/आमेलन:-
(i ) भारत - तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल में ऐसे कांस्टेबल ( साधारण ड्यूटी ) जिनके पास विभागीय परीक्षण उत्तीर्ण करने के अध्यधीन और चिकित्सा प्रवर्ग शेप -1 के अंतर्गत होते हुए भारी/मध्यम/हल्के मोटर यान चलाने की विधिमान्य अनुज्ञप्ति है ।
(ii ) केन्द्रीय पुलिस संगठनों/राज्य पुलिस बलों में ऐसे कांस्टेबिल/ड्राइवर, जिनके पास भारी/ मध्यम/ हल्के मोटर यान चलाने की विधिमान्य अनुज्ञप्तिहै ।
(प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि, जिसके अंतर्गत केन्द्रीय सरकार के उसी या किसी अन्य संगठन/विभाग में इस नियुक्ति से ठीक पहले धारित किसी अन्य काडर बाह्य पद पर प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि है , साधारणतया तीन वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होगी "। )

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 10th March, 2004
G.S.R 181 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b ) of Sub - section (2 ) of Section 156 of the Indo- Tibetan Border Police Force Act , 1992 ( 35 of 1992) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indo - Tibetan Border Police Force, Motor Transport and Motor Mechanic Cadre (Group ' B ' and ' C ' posts) Recruitment Rules , 1999, namely :--
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Indo - Tibetan Border Police Force, Motor Transport and Motor Mechanic Cadre (Group ' B ' and ' C ' posts ) Recruitment ( Amendment ) Rules , 2004.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette .
2. In the Schedule to the Indo - Tibetan Border Police Force , Motor Transport and Motor Mechanic Cadre (Group 'B ' and ' C ' posts ) Recruitment Rules , 1999 , against serial number 4 relating to the post of Constable (Driver ) ,—
(a) in column 11 , for the existing entries , the following entry shall be substituted , namely: -
" 100% by direct recruitment, failing which by deputation/ absorption. ",---
(b) in column 12, for the existing entries , the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Deputation/Absorption:
(1 ) Constable (General Duty in Indo - Tibetan Border Police Force who possess valid heavy/medium/ light motor vehicle driving licence subject to passing departmental test and being in medical category SHAPE - I
(ii) Constable /Driver in Central Police Organisations/State Police Forces , who possess valid heavy/ medium/light motor vehicle driving licence .
(The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex - cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in same or some other Organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years " . )
