का.आ. 383(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार, चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् ( निर्वाचन ) नियम, 1975 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम, 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख ) के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए डॉ. प्रसन्न कुमार जैन, आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा पद्धति, आयुर्वेद संकाय , जीवाजी विश्वविद्यालय, ग्वालियर ( मध्य प्रदेश ) को विश्वविद्यालय के उक्त आयुर्वेद संकाय के सदस्यों द्वारा अपने में से निर्वाचित किया गया है ।
अतः अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं. का. आ. 3259( अ ) , तारीख 21 अगस्त , 1971 में, जो भारत सरकार के राजपत्र में 1 सितम्बर, 1971 को प्रकाशित की गई थी, निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:- ,
उक्त अधिसूचना में, " धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड (ख ) के अधीन निर्वाचित " शीर्षक के अधीन, सारणी में जीवाजी विश्वविद्यालय, ग्वालियर और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टयों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्:-

S.O. 383 (E) . In exercise of the power conferred under clause (b ) of Sub -section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of The Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) read with rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council (Election) Rules, 1975, Dr. Prasanna Kumar Jain of Ayurveda system of medicine from the Ayurveda faculty , Jiwaji University , Gwalior, (Madhya Pradesh) has been elected from amongst themselves by the members of the said Ayurveda Faculty of the University.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section (1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act, the Central Government makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare No. S.O. 3259 (E ) , dated 21st August , 1971, published in Gazette of India on 1st September , 1971 , namely:-
In the said notification, under the heading " Elected under clause (b ) of Sub - section ( 1) of Section 3 " , in th table, for the University of Jiwaji University , Gwalior and the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted , namely:-
