का. आ. 388 (अ) .-विदेशी मुद्रा प्रबंध अधिनियम , 1999 ( 1999 का 42 ) की धारा 20 की उपधारा ( 2 ) के खंड ( ख ) और धारा 29 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, अध्यक्ष, विदेशी मुद्रा अपील अधिकरण एतद्वारा अधिकरण के निम्नलिखित पीठों का गठन करते हैं , अर्थात्:-
(क) एक सदस्यीय पीठ, एक पीठ में अध्यक्ष और दूसरी पीठों में प्रत्येक में एक सदस्य होगा और
( ख ) खंड पीठ जिनमें प्रत्येक में या तो अध्यक्ष के साथ एक सदस्य होगा या दो सदस्य संयुक्त रूप से आसीन होंगे ।
2. खंड पीठ पांच लाख रुपये से अधिक की शास्ति वाले मामलों की सुनवाई करेगी और अन्य सभी मामले एक- सदस्यीय पीठ द्वारा सुने जाएंगे । पीठों में कार्य का विभाजन समय - समय पर अध्यक्ष द्वारा किया जाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 22nd March , 2004
S. O. 388(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Sub - section (2) of Section 20 and Section 29 ofthe Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , the Chairperson hereby constitutes the following Benches of the Appellate Tribunal, namely :----
(a) Single Member Benches , one Bench consisting of the Chairperson and other Benches consisting of a Member each; and
( b) Division Benches consisting of either the Chairperson with a Member or any two Members sitting jointly.
2. ADivision Bench shall hear cases in which the amount of penalty exceeds rupees five lakhs , and all other cases shall be heard by a Single Member Bench . The distribution of work amongst Benches shall be done at times by the Chairperson.
