नई दिल्ली, 23 मार्च, 2004,
का.आ. 389(अ) .- केन्द्र सरकार, जांच आयोग अधिनियम , 1952 ( 1952 का 60 ) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय की दिनांक 8 मई, 2000 की अधिसूचना सं. का. आ. 441 ( अ ) में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
उक्तअधिसूचना में विद्यमान पैरा 3 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित पैरा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्: -
" 3. आयोग अपनी रिपोर्ट केन्द्र सरकार को यथाशीघ्र किन्तु 2 अगस्त, 2004 से पूर्व प्रस्तुत करेगा । "

पी. के. जलाली, मंयुक्त सचिव टिप्पणी:-नानावती जांच आयोग के गठन संबंधी मूल अधिसूचना भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण में दिनांक 8 मई, 2000 के का.आ. 441 (अ ) के तहत प्रकाशित की गई थी और तत्पश्चात् इसमें दिनांक 31 मार्च, 2001 की सं. का.आ. 302 ( अ ) , दिनांक 28 सितम्बर, 2001 की सं. का. आ. 971 ( अ) , दिनांक 28 मार्च, 2002 की सं. का.आ. 345 ( अ ) , दिनांक 1 अक्तूबर, 2002 की सं. का.आ. 1055 (अ ) , दिनांक 31 मार्च, 2003 की सं. का.आ. 359 ( अ ) , और दिनांक 3 अक्तूबर, 2003 की सं. का.आ. 1165( अ ) के तहत संशोधन किया गया था।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 23rd March, 2004
S.O. 389 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 ofthe Commissions of Inquiry Act , 1952 (60 of 1952) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry ofHome Affairs , Number S.O. 441 (E), dated, the 8th May, 2000 , namely:-
Inthe said notification, for the existing paragraph 3 , the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-
" 3. The Commission shall submit its report to the Central Government as soon as possible but not later than the 2ndAugust , 2004. "
