आ. अ. 36(अ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 22 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और आयोग की अधिसूचना सं० 434/द० और दीव/2004(2 ) तारीख 13 मार्च, 2004 का अधिक्रमण करते हुए निर्वाचन आयोग दमण और दीव संघ राज्य क्षेत्र में दमण और दीव संसदीय निवांचन-क्षेत्र में रिटर्निंग आफिसर को उनके कृत्यों में सहायता करने के लिए सहायक रिटर्निंग आफिसर के रूप में सरकार के निम्नलिखित अधिकारियों को एतद्वारा नियुक्त करता है : -
1. कलक्टर , दीव;
2. उप कलक्टर, दमण;
3. अपर जिला मजिस्ट्रेट, दमण;
4. उप कलक्टर ( सामान्य ) , दमण ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section ( 1 ) of Section 22 of the Representation ofthe People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , and in suppression of its notification No. 434/D & D/2004(2) dated 13th March, 2004, the Election Commission hereby appoints the following officers of the Administration of Daman & Diu to assist the Returning Officer of the Daman & Diu Parliamentary Constitutency in the Union Territory of Daman & Diu , in the performance of his functions :-
1. Collector, Diu;
2. Dy. Collector, Daman;
3. Additional District Magistrate of Daman;
4. Dy. Collector (Gen) ,Daman .
