सं. टीएएमपी/ 103 / 99-वीपीटी.- महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम, 1963 ( 1963 का 38 ) की धारा 48, 49 और 50 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए महापत्तन प्रशुल्क प्राधिकरण एतद्वारा विशाखापत्तनम पत्तन न्यास के वर्तमान दरमान की वैधता का, संलग्न आदेशानुसार, विस्तार करता है ।

इस प्राधिकरण ने विशाखापत्तनम पत्तन न्यास के वर्तमान दरमान की वैधता को 31 मार्च, 2004 तक विस्तारित करते हुए, 16 दिसम्बर, 2003 को एक आदेश पारित किया था ।
2. उक्त आदेश में, इस प्राधिकरण ने वीपीटी के संशोधित दरमान को 31 मार्च, 2004 तक अधिसूचित करने के लिए वीपीटी को दरमान में सामान्य संशोधन का अपना प्रस्ताव 31 जनवरी , 2004 तक प्रस्तुत करने का निदेश दिया था । बीपीटी द्वारा दरमान में सामान्य संशोधन के लिए, प्रासंगिक लागत विवरणों सहित , व्यापक प्रस्ताव 28 फरवरी , 2004 को दाखिल कर दिया गया है । वीपीटी के इस प्रस्ताव को ' प्रशुल्क प्रकरण ' के रूप में पंजीकृत किया गया है और संबंधित उपयोगकर्ताओं/उपयोगकर्ता संगठनों के साथ सामान्य परामर्शी प्रक्रिया पहले ही शुरू की जा चुकी है । 3. चूंकि वीपीटी के वर्तमान दरमान की वैधता 31 मार्च, 2004 को समाप्त होगी , और प्रशुल्क के सामान्य संशोधन/समीक्षा का प्रस्ताव परामर्शी अवस्थामें है, इसलिए यह प्राधिकरण संशोधित दरमान के भारत का राजपत्र में अधिसूचित होने तक, बीपीटी के वर्तमान दरमान की वैधता का विस्तार करने का निर्णय लेता है ।

TARIFF AUTHORITY FOR MAJOR PORTS
NOTIFICATION
Mumbai , the 22nd March, 2004
No. TAMP/103/99 - VPT .--In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 48 , 49 and 50 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963 ), the Tariff Authority for Major Ports hereby extends the validity of the existing Scale of Rates of the Visakhapatnam Port Trust as in the Order appended hereto .

(Passed on this 15th day of March , 2004)
ThisAuthority had passed an Order on 16 December, 2003 extending the validity of the existing Scale of Rates of the Visakhapatnam Port Trust till 31 March, 2004.
2. In the said Order , the Authority had directed the VPT to submit its proposal for general revision of its Scale of Rates by 31 January, 2004 to enable this Authority to notify its revised Scale of Rates by 31 March, 2004. The comprehensive proposal for general revision of the Scale of rates along with the relevant cost statements has been filed by the VPT on 28 February, 2004. This proposal of the VPT has been registered as a ' tariff case ' and usual consultative process with the concerned users /user organisation has already been initiated.
3. Since the validity of the existing Scale of Rates ofthe VPT will expire on 31 March, 2004, and the proposal for general revision / review of tariff is in the consultative stage , this Authority decides to extend the validity of the existing Scale of Rates of VPT till notification of the revised Scale of Rates in the Gazette of India .
