का.आ. 1280(अ).- भारतीय चिकित्सा केंद्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम, 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबंध के अनुसरण में ( इसके पश्चात् उक्त अधिनियम के रूप में उल्लिखित ) , राज्यों से आयुर्वेद, सिद्ध और युनानी चिकित्सा पद्धति हेतु सदस्यों को, जहां भारतीय चिकित्सा की राज्य पंजिका अनुरक्षित है, आयुर्वेद, सिद्ध और युनानी के चिकित्सकों के रूप में उस पंजिका पर नामांकित व्यक्तियों द्वारा ही उनमें से निर्वाचित किया गया है ।
अतः , अब, केंद्रीय सरकार उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत सरकारके स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्या 3259 ( अ ) तारीख 21 अगस्त, 1974 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबंध ( क) के तहत निर्वाचित : -

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 11th November, 2004
S.O. 1280 (E) .- Whereas in pursuance of clause (a) of Sub -section ( 1) of Section 3 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 ( 48 of 1970 ) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) members for Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani Systems of medicine from the States in which the State Register of Indian Medicine is maintained , have been elected from amongst themselves by persons enrolled on that Register as practitioners of Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani .
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act, the Central Government makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare No. S.O. 3259 (E) dated the 21st August, 197.1 namely :-
