सा.का.नि. 779(अ). महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम, 1963 (1963का 38 ) की धारा 8 ( 1 ) ( कक ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार , एतद्वारा , तूतीकोरिन पत्तन के न्यासी बोर्ड में न्यासी के रूप में पत्तन में कार्यरत श्रमिकों के प्रतिनिधि श्री एन. राजेन्द्रन को हटा देती है । उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 10 की उपधारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा , श्री के. कनगराज को 31-3-2005 तक तूतीकोरिन पत्तन के न्यासी बोर्ड में पत्तन में कार्यरत श्रमिकों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए न्यासी के रूप में नियुक्त करती है तथा भारत सरकार के पहले के पोत परिवहन मंत्रालय ( पत्तन पक्ष) की दिनांक 9-5-2003 की अधिसूचना सं. सा.का.नि. 391 (अ ) में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है :
2. उक्त अधिसूचना में क्रम सं. 6 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टि को निम्नलिखित से बदल दिया जाए, अर्थात्:-

New Delhi , the 30th November, 2004
G.S.R. 779 ( E) .--In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8 ( 1 )( aa) of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963 ) , the Central Government hereby removes Shri N. Rajenderan as a trustee to represent Labour employed in the port on the Board of Trustees for the Port of Tuticorin . In exercise of powers conferred by sub - section (2 ) of Section 10 of the said Act , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri K. Kanagaraj , as a trustee to represent labour employed in the port on the Board of Trustee for the port of Tuticorin upto 31-3-2005 and makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping (Ports Wing ) No.G.S.R. 391 ( E) dated 9-5-2003 .
2. In the said notification , Serial No. 6 and the entry relating thereto , shall be substituted by the following namely:-
