सा.का.नि. 785(अ) .-केन्द्र सरकार , खान और खनिज ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1957 ( 1957 का 67 ) की धारा 17क की उप - धारा ( 1 क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का उपयोग करते हुए और तत्कालीन कोयला और खनि मंत्रालय , खान विभाग , भारत सरकार की अधिसूचना सं. जी एस आर 500 ( अ ) दिनांक 16 जुलाई, 2002 के अधिक्रमण में छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार के साथ विचार - विमर्श करने के बाद, पूर्वेक्षण लाइसेंस या खनन पट्टे के लिए पहले ही से अधिग्रस्त क्षेत्र को छोड़कर, छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के कांकेर और बस्तर जिलों के रोवघाट क्षेत्र में लौह अयस्क भंडारों में, केन्द्र सरकार के स्वामित्व में और उसके द्वारा नियंत्रित सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के एक उपक्रम स्टील अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड ( एस. ए. आई. एल. ) की मार्फत, पूर्वक्षण या खनन प्रचालन करने के लिए, आरक्षित रखती है और घोषणा करती है कि ऐसे आरक्षित क्षेत्र की परिधि के अंदर आने वाले 1702.70 हैक्टेयर क्षेत्र में तथा नीचे विनिर्दिष्ट खनिज के लिए, दस वर्ष की अवधि हेतु, कोई पूर्वेक्षण लाइसेंस या खनन पट्टा नहीं दिया जाएगा: - जिला : कांकेर और बस्तर
क्षेत्र: रोवघाट क्षेत्र के " एफ " ब्लाक के भंडार जो छः उप- खंडों में फैले हुए हैं वे हैं- ब्लाक- क, तारहर, अंजरेल, कोरगांव, खारकागांव और टाकरेल-टोपोशीट संख्या 65 ई/ 1 का भाग ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd December, 2004
G.S.R. 785 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- section ( 1A) of Section 17A of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation ) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, in the then Ministry of Coal and Mines , Department of Mines , number G.S.R. 500( E) , dated the 16th July, 2002, the Central Government, after consultation with the State Government of Chhattisgarh , reserves for undertaking prospecting and/or mining operations through the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a public sector undertaking owned and controlled by the Central Government, of the iron ore deposits in Rowghat area in Kanker and Bastar Districts of the State of Chhattisgarh, except the area already held under prospecting licence or mining lease and declares that no prospecting licence or mining lease shall be granted in the area of 1702.70 hectares for ten years lying within the boundary of such reserved area and for the mineral specified below, namely:----

Area: ' F' Block deposit of Rowghat area containing six sub - blocks viz . Block-A, Tarhur , Anjrel , Korgaon , Kharkagaon and Takrel -part of toposheet No. 65E/1 .
