नई दिल्ली, 10 दिसम्बर, 2004
का.आ. 1358(अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार ने , भारत का राजपत्र असाधारण भाग ।। , खंड 3 , उप- खंड ( 11 ), दिनांक 15 जनवरी, 2004 में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के संस्कृति मंत्रालय ( भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण) की 15 जनवरी, 2004 की अधिसूचना सं० का० आ० 78 (ई) द्वारा उक्त अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्न स्थल मानचित्र तथा अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन संस्मारक को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करने के अपने आशय की दो मास की सूचना दी थी और उक्त अधिसूचना की एक प्रतिलिपि उक्त संस्मारक के निकट सहज दृश्य स्थान पर चिपका दी गई थी; जैसा कि प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम, 1958- ( 1958 का 24) की धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) में अपेक्षित है ।
और उक्त राजपत्र की प्रतियाँ 19 जनवरी, 2004 को जनता को उपलब्ध करा दी गई थी;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा की गई इस घोषणा पर जनता से कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है;
अतः अब केन्द्रीय सरकार प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम , 1958(1958 का 24) की धारा 4 की उप धारा (3)द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए एतद्वारा उक्त अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन संस्मारक को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 10th December, 2004
S.O. 1358 (E ). Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Culture ( Archaeological Survey of India) number S.O. 78 ( E) dated the 15th January, 2004 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, PartII, section 3 , sub-section ( ii ) dated the 15th January, 2004, the Central Government gave two months ' notice of its intention to declare the ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule hereto annexed to the said notification to be of national importance and a copy of the said notification was affixed in a conspicuous place near the said ancient monument ; as required by Sub - Section ( 1) ofSection 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act , 1958- ( 24 of 1958) ;
And whereas , the copies of the said Gazette Notification was made available to the public on the 19th January 2004;
And whereas , no objections have been received from the public to the making of such declaration by the Central Government ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section( 3 ) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments And Archaeological Sites And Remains Act , 1958 ( 24 of 1958 ) , the Central Government hereby declares the said ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule annexed hereto , to be of national importance .
