का.आ. 1396( अ ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 48 ) की धारा 5 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन परिवहन मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं. का. नि.आ. 1181 , तारीख 4 अप्रैल, 1957 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्: -
उक्त अधिसूचना की अनुसूची में, क्रमांक सं. 8 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित क्रम सं. और प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-

राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 4 [ 0.0 कि.मी. से 103.0 कि.मी. (चेन्नई से रानीपेट ) को छोड़कर]
और सं . 45 ए, सं. 47 [ 0.000 कि.मी. से 182.040 कि.मी. ( सलेम से तमिलनाडु/केरल
सीमा ) को छोड़कर ] , सं. 49, सं. 66, सं. 67, सं. 205, सं. 207, सं. 208 , सं. 209,
सं. 219 और सं. 220 के तमिलनाडु राज्य के भीतर स्थित भाग और राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग
सं. 45 ( पेरियाकुलम को जोड़ने वाले डिंडिगुल के समीप राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 7 के
इसके जंक्शन से प्रारंभ होने वाले और टेनी के समीप राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 49 के इसके
जंक्शन पर समाप्त होने वाला राजमार्ग ) , सं. 45 बी, सं. 47बी, सं. 68 और सं. 210 ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th December, 2004
S.O. 1396 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the then Ministry of Transport, number S.R.O. 1181 , dated the 4th April , 1957 , namely:-
In the Schedule to the said notification, for serial number 8 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"8 So much ofNational Highway No. 4 [excluding from Km. 0.0 to Km. 103.0 (from Chennai to Ranipet ) ] and No. 45A, No. 47, [ excluding from Km. 0.000 to Km. 182.040 (from Salem to Tamil Nadu/Kerala Border) ] , No. 49, No. 66, No. 67, No. 205, No. 207 , No. 208 , No. 209, No. 219 and No. 220 as are situated within the State of Tamil Nadu and National Highway No. 45 (the highway starting from its junction with National Highway No. 7 near Dindigul connecting Periyakulam and terminating at its junction with National Highway No. 49 near Teni ) , No. 45B, No. 47B, No. 68 and No. 210.
