का.आ. 1416(अ).- भारत सरकार, खान और खनिज ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1957 ( 1957 का 67 ) की धारा 16 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के अनुच्छेद ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, का.आ. 713 ( अ ) दिनांक 21 जून , 2004 के द्वारा भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग- II, खंड 3, उपखंड ( ii ) में 22 जून, 2004, को प्रकाशित तत्कालीन कोयला और खान मंत्रालय , ( खान विभाग ) , भारत सरकार के आदेश का अधिक्रमण करते हुए, ( ऐसे अधिक्रमण से पूर्व किए गए परिवर्तनों या हटाए गए या हटाए जाने वाले अंशों को छोड़कर ) एतद्वारा समय- सीमा को बढ़ाकर 31 दिसम्बर, 2005 करती है जिसके दौरान खान और खनिज ( विनियमन और विकास ) संशोधन अधिनियम, 1972 ( 1972 का 56 ) की शुरुआत से पहले दिए गए सभी खनन पट्टों [ यदि खान और खनिज ( विनियमन और विकास ) संशोधन अधिनियम, 1994 ( 1994 का 25 ) की शुरुआत की तारीख को कार्यशील थे ] को इस अधिनियम के प्रावधानों तथा उनके तहत बनाए गए नियमों के अनुरूप बनाया जाएगा ।

New Delhi , the 27th December , 2004
S.O. 1416(E ). In exercise of the powers conferred by clause( a) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 16 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 ( 67 of 1957 ) and in supersession of the order of the Government ofIndia, in the erstwhile Ministry of Coal and Mines (Department of Mines) published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary , Part II , Section 3 , Sub - section ( ii) , dated the 22nd June, 2004 vide S. O. 713 (E) , dated the 21st June , 2004, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby specifies the further time till 31st December, 2005 within which all mining leases , granted before the commcacement of the Mines and Minerals ( Regulation and Development) Amendment Act , 1972 (56 of 1972) Fifi force at the date of commencement of the Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development ) Amendut Act, 1994 (25 of 1994 ) ] , shall be brought in conformity with the provisions of the said Act and the rules made thereunder .
