सा.का.नि. 840( अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , मानव अधिकार संरक्षण अधिनियम , 1993 ( 1994 का 10 ) की धारा 40 की उपधारा ( 2) के खंड ( ख ) के साथ पठित उसकी उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार आयोग (समूह " क" और समूह " ख " पद ) भर्ती नियम, 1996 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार आयोग ( समूह " क " और समूह " ख " पद ) भर्ती ( संशोधन ) नियम, 2004 है ।
(2) राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे । 2. राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार आयोग ( समूह " क " और समूह " ख " पद) भर्ती नियम , 1996 की अनुसूची में, अवर सचिव के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्यांक 11 के सामने , स्तम्भ 12 में, " प्रोन्नति " शीर्षक के नीचे की विद्यमान प्रविष्टिः के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्:-
" आयोग के ऐसे अनुभाग अधिकारी , जिन्होंने उस श्रेणी में आठ वर्षसे अन्यून नियमित सेवा की है । "

८८० वि ० एकक G.S.R. 840 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section ( 1 ) , read with clause (b) of Sub-section (2), ofSection 40 of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (10 of 1994), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Human Rights Commission(Group "A" and Group " B " Posts) Recruitment Rules , 1996 , namely:--
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the National Human Rights Commission (Group " A" and Group " B " Posts) Recruitment (Amendment ) Rulles, 2004.
(2) They shall come into force on the date oftheir publication in Official Gazette .
2. In the Schedule to the National Human Rights Commission(Group " A " and Group " B " Posts ) Recruitment Rules, 1996, against serial number 11 relating to the post of Under Secretary, in column 12 , under the heading "Promotion" , for the existing entry , the following entry shall be substituted, namely :-
"Section Officers in the Commission having not less than eight years ' regular service in the grade . "
