NewDelhi , the 30th December , 2004 का.आ. 1431 ( अ) .-जांच आयोग अधिनियम, 1952 ( 1952 की 60 ) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा , भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय की दिनांक 8 मई, 2000 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 441 ( अ ) , में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है :-
S.O. 1431 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs, number S.O. 441 (E), dated the 8th May, 2000, namely :-
उक्त अधिसूचना में, विद्यमान पैराग्राफ 3 के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित पैराग्राफ प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा , नामश: -
Inthe said notification, for the existing paragraph 3 , the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-- " 3. आयोग अपनी रिपोर्ट केन्द्र सरकार को यथाशीघ्र किंतु अधिकतम 31 जनवरी, 2005 तक प्रस्तुत कर देगा "।
"3. The Commission shall submit its report to the Central Government as soon as possible but not later than the 31st January, 2005" .

Note: The principal notification, appointing Justice Nanavati Commission of Inquiry , was published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, vide number S.O. 441 (E ) , dated the 8th May, 2000 and subsequently amended vide number S.O. 302 (E) , dated the 31st March, 2001 , S.O. 971 (E) , dated the 28th September, 2001 , S.O. 345 (E) , dated the 28th March, 2002, S.O. 1055 (E) , dated the 1st October, 2002, S.O. 359(E) , dated the 31st March, 2003 , S.O. 1165 (E) , dated the 3rd October, 2003 , S.O. 389 (E) , dated the 23rd March, 2004 , S.O. 871 (E) , dated the 30th July, 2004 and S.O. 1203 ( E) , dated the 29th October, 2004.
