का.आ. 1 ( अ ).- भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् अधिनियम , 1984 ( 1984 का 52 ) के खंड 7 के साथ पठित खंड 3 के उप - खंड ( 1 ) , ( 3 ) तथा ( 6 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा डॉ. एन . बालारमन , उप - कुलपति , तमिलनाडु पशु चिकित्सा तथा पशु-विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय, चैन्नई को उक्त अधिनियम के खंड 6 के उप - खंड ( 3 ) की धारा ( ख ) के अनुसार डॉ. आर. कादिरवेल जो तमिलनाडु पशु-चिकित्सा तथा पशु - विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय, चैन्नई के उप - कुलपति के पद से मुक्त हो गए हैं, कि शेष अवधि के लिए भारतीय पशु चिकित्सा परिषद् के सदस्य के रूप में नामित करती है तथा उक्त उद्देश्य के लिए भारत सरकार कृषि मंत्रालय ( पशु - पालन एवं डेयरी विभाग ) की दिनांक 8 जुलाई , 2003 की सं.का. आ. 772 ( अ ) की अधिसूचना को संशोधित करती है , नामतः : -
उक्त अधिसूचना में-
(क ) क्रम सं. 6 तथा उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के लिए, निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्या तथा प्रविष्टियां प्रतिस्थापित की जाएंगी, नामतः

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 31th December, 2004
S.O. 1 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- sections ( 1 ) , (3 ) and (6 ) of Section 3 , read with Section 7 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), the Central Government hereby nominates Dr. N. Balaraman, Vice -Chancellor ofTamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai as Member of the Veterinary Council of India under clause (b ) of sub - section ( 3 ) of section 3 of the said Act, for the remainder of the term of Dr. R. Kadirvel who ceased to be a Member of the Veterinary Council of India on his vacation of the office of Vice- Chancellor , Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Chennai as per clause (b ) of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 6 of the said Act and for the said purpose amends the notification, of the Government of India in the Ministry ofAgriculture (Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying ) number S.O. 772 (E), dated the 8th July, 2003 , namely:-
