नई दिल्ली, 7 जनवरी , 2005
का.आ. 32(अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार ने , भारत का राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उप - खण्ड ( ii ) , दिनांक १ दिसम्बर, 2003 में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के संस्कृति विभाग ( भारतीय पुरातत्त्व सर्वेक्षण ) की 9 दिसम्बर, 2003 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1398 ( अ) द्वारा उक्त अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्न स्थल मानचित्र तथा अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन संस्मारक को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करने के अपने आशय की दो मास की सूचना दी थी और उक्त अधिसूचना की एक प्रतिलिपि उक्त संस्मारक के निकट सहज दृश्य स्थान पर चिपका दी गई थी; क्योंकि प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्त्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम, 1958 ( 1958 का 24 ) की धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) में यह अपेक्षा की गई है ;
और उक्त राजपत्र अधिसूचना की प्रतियां 26 फरवरी, 2004 को जनता को उपलब्ध करा दी गई थीं;
और ऐसी घोषणा किए जाने के प्रति केन्द्रीय सरकार को जनता से कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त नहीं हुए हैं ;
अतः अब केन्द्रीय सरकार प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्त्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम, 1958 ( 1958 का 24 ) की धारा 4 की उप- धारा (3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए एतद्वारा इसके साथ संलग्न उक्त स्थल मानचित्र तथा अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन संस्मारक को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th January, 2005
S.O. 32 (E ) . Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Culture (Archaeological Section 3 , Sub -section ( ii ) , dated the 9th December , 2003 , the Central Government gave two months ' notice of its intention Survey of India ) number S.O. 1398( E) dated the 9th December, 2003 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, to declare the ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule hereto annexed to the said notification to be of national importance and a copy of the said notification was affixed in a conspicuous place near the said ancient monument; as required by Sub - section ( i ) of Section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958) ;
2004; And whereas, the copies of the said Gazette Notification was made available to the public on the 26th February , And whereas , no objections have been received from the public to the making of such declaration by the Central Government;
Now, therefore in exercise ofthe powers conferred by Sub - section (3 ) of Section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958 ) , the Central Government hereby declares the said ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule annexed hereto , to be of national importance .
