का.आ. 41( अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम , 1986 ( 1986 का 68 ) की धारा 20 की उपधारा 3 के साथ पठित उपधारा 1 के खण्ड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, चयन समिति की सिफारिश पर डॉ. पी. डी. शिनॉय, भा.प्र.से. ( सेवानिवृत्त ) को 7 जनवरी , 2005 से पांच वर्ष की अवधि के लिए अथवा अगले आदेशों तक, जो भी पहले हो, समय - समय पर यथा संशोधित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण नियम, 1987 के साथ पठित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम , 1986 में निर्धारित निबंधनों और शर्तों पर राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग के पूर्णकालिक सदस्य के रूप में नियुक्त करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 11th January, 2005
S.O. 41 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Sub-section ( 1 ) read with Sub- section (3 ) of Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 ( 68 of 1986 ) , the Central Government , on the recommendation of the Selection Committee, hereby appoints Dr. P. D. Shenoy, IAS (Retd. ) as whole-time Member of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with effect from the 7th day of January, 2005, for a period of five years , or until further orders, whichever is the earliest, on the terms and conditions prescribed in the Consumer Protection Act , 1986 read with the Consumer Protection Rules , 1987 as amended from time to time .
