का.आ. 44 (अ) .- आयकर अधिनियम , 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 120 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड एतद्वारा भारत सरकार, वित्त मंत्रालय , राजस्व विभाग ( केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड ) की दिनांक 14 सितम्बर, 2001 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 883(अ) में निम्नलिखित आगे संशोधन करता है नामतः:-
अधिसूचना की अनुसूची में, आयकर आयुक्त ( केन्द्रीय आसूचना ब्यूरो ) , चैन्नई से संबंधित क्रमांक 3 के सामने कॉलम सं. 4 में, शब्द " तमिलनाडु राज्य की सीमाओं के अंतर्गत क्षेत्र " के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शब्द प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे , नामतः :--
" तमिलनाडु राज्य एवं पांडिचेरी संघ क्षेत्र की सीमाओं के अंतर्गत क्षेत्र " ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 12th January, 2005
(INCOME TAX)
S.O. 44(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 120 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961 ) , the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance , Department of Revenue ( Central Board of Direct Taxes ) , number S.O. 883 (E) , dated the 14th September, 2001 , namely :-
Inthe Schedule to the notification, against serial No. 3 relating to Commissioner of Income-tax ( CIB) , Chennai , in column No.4, for the words, "Area within the limits of State of Tamil Nadu" , the following words shall be substituted, namely:-
"Area within the limits of State of Tamil Nadu and the union territory ofPondicherry." .
