का.आ. 47 ( अ) .- भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 239 के खण्ड ( 1 ) के अनुसरण में, राष्ट्रपति एतद्वारा यह निदेश देते हैं कि संघ राज्य क्षेत्र पांडिचेरी के उप - राज्यपाल , राष्ट्रपति के नियंत्रण के अध्यधीन तथा अगले आदेशों तक, पांडिचेरी संघ राज्य क्षेत्र में विद्युत अधिनियम, 2003 ( 2003 का 36 ) के उपबंधों , धारा 82 और 83 को छोड़कर, के तहत राज्य सरकार की शक्तियों का प्रयोग और कर्तव्यों का भी निर्वहन करेंगे ।

S.O. 47 (E) . In pursuance of clause ( 1 ) of article 239 of the Constitution, the President hereby directs that the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Pondicherry, shall, subject to the control of the President and until further orders, also exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the State Government under the provisions ofthe Electricity Act, 2003 , (36 of 2003 ) , except Sections 82 and 83 , within the Union Territory of Pondicherry.
