का.आ. 49 (अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 ( 1988 का 59 ) की धारा 8 , धारा 9 , धारा 11 , धारा 12 , धारा 15, धारा 17, धारा 19 , धारा 27 , धारा 44 , धारा 47 , धारा 49 , धारा 51 , धारा 54, धारा 56 , धारा 64, धारा 88 की उपधारा ( 14 ) और धारा 110 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय मोटर यान ( पहला संशोधन ) नियम , 2001 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्तनियमों के नियम 1 के उपनियम ( 2 ) में " 31 मई, 2005 को" शब्द और अंकों के स्थान पर " 31 मई, 2005 को या ऐसे किसी राज्य की बाबत जो उपनियम ( 8 ) के खण्ड ( 1 ) के उपबंधों को कार्यान्वित करने का प्रस्ताव करता है , ऐसी पूर्वतर तारीख को जो राज्य सरकार राजपत्र में अधिसूचना द्वारा इस निमित्त विनिर्दिष्ट करें " शब्द, अंक और कोष्ठक रखे जाएंगे ।

आलोक रावत, संयुक्त सचिव टिप्पण: केन्द्रीय मोटरयान ( पहला संशोधन ) नियम, 2001 , भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण में अधिसूचना सं. सा.का.नि. 221 ( अ ) , तारीख 28 मार्च, 2001 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और इनमें तत्पश्चात् निम्नलिखित अधिसूचनाओं द्वारा संशोधन किए गए थे :-
( i ) अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 938( अ) तारीख 24 सितम्बर, 2001;
(ii) अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 499( अ) तारीख 9 मई, 2002;
(iii ) अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 59( अ) तारीख 21 जनवरी, 2003;
( iv) अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1450 ( अ ) तारीख 22 दिसम्बर, 2003; और
(v ) अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1407 (अ ) तारीख 23 दिसम्बर, 2004 1

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 13th January, 2005
S.O. 49 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 8 , 9, 11 , 12, 15 , 17, 19 , 27, 44, 47, 49, 51 , 54, 56, 64, sub- section ( 14 ) of Section 88 and Section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act , 1988 (59 of 1988 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Central Motor Vehicles ( 1st Amendment ) Rules , 2001 , namely :-
In the said rules, in rule 1 , in sub -rule (2 ) , for the words , figures and letters " on 31st May, 2005 " , the words , figures, letters and brackets " on the 31st May, 2005 or in respect of any State which proposes to implement the provisions of clause (1) of sub - rule (8 ) on such earlier date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette , specify in this behalf, whichever is earlier " shall be substituted .

Note : The Central Motor Vehicles ( 1st Amendment) Rules , 2001 were published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary vide Notification number G.S.R. 221 (E) , dated the 28th March, 2001 and subsequently amended vide notification numbers- (i ) S.O. 938 (E) , dated the 24th September, 2001;
(ii ) S.O. 499 (E ) , dated the 9th May, 2002;
( iii) S.O. 59(E) , dated the 21st January, 2003;
( it ) S.O. 1450 (E) , dated the 22nd December , 2003 ; and
(v) S.O. 1407 (E), dated the 23rd December, 2004.
