सा.का.नि. 27 (अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, वाणिज्यिक पोत परिवहन अधिनियम, 1958 ( 1958 का 44 ) की धारा 429 और 458 के साथ पठित धारा 435 और 457 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए वाणिज्यिक पोत परिवहन ( पाल जलयान ) नियम , 1997 का संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम वाणिज्यिक पोत परिवहन ( पाल जलयान ) संशोधन नियम , 2004 है ।
( 2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. वाणिज्यिक पोत परिवहन ( पाल जलयान ) नियम , 1997 की अनुसूची 5 के अंत में निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्: - " अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप
प्रभारी सर्वेक्षक
पोर्टब्लेयर
पीबीसी
समुद्रीवाणिज्यविभाग
पोर्टब्लेयर"

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 13th January, 2005
G.S.R. 27 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 435 and Section 457 , read with Sections 429 and 458 of the Merchant Shipping Act , 1958 ( 44 of 1958) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Merchant Shipping ( Sailing Vessels) Rules , 1997 , namely :-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Merchant Shipping ( Sailing Vessels ) Amendinent Rules, 2004.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Merchant Shipping ( Sailing Vessels ) Rules, 1997, in Schedule V, the following shall be inserted at the end, namely:-
"Andaman and Nicobar Islands
PBC
PortBlair
Surveyor - in -Charge ,
Mercantile Marine Department, Port Blair"
