नई दिल्ली, 14 जनवरी, 2005
का.आ. 55(अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार ने, भारत का राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग II , खण्ड 3, उप- खण्ड ( ii ) , दिनांक 9 सितम्बर, 2004 में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के संस्कृति मंत्रालय ( भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण ) की 9 सितम्बर, 2004 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 995 ( अ ) द्वारा उक्त अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्न स्थल मानचित्र तथा अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन संस्मारक को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करने के अपने आशय की दो मास की सूचना दी थी और उक्त अंधिसूचना की एक प्रतिलिपि उक्त संस्मारक के निकट सहज दृश्य स्थान पर चिपका दी गई थी, जैसा कि प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्त्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम, 1958 ( 1958 का 24 ) की धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) में अपेक्षित है;
और उक्त राजपत्र की प्रतियां 15 अक्तूबर, 2004 को जनता को उपलब्ध करा दी गई थीं;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा की गई इस घोषणा पर जनता से कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त नहीं हुए हैं;
अतः , अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम, 1958 ( 1958 का 24 ) की धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्वारा उक्त अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट प्राचीन संस्मारक को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करती है।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th January, 2005
S.O. 55 (E) .---Whereas by the notification ofthe Government of India in the Ministry of Culture (Archaeological Survey of India) number S.O. 995 (E ) dated the 9th September, 2004 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3, Sub- section ( ii ) , dated the 9th September, 2004, issued in exercise of the powers conferredby Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act , 1958 ( 24 of 1958 ) , the Central Governinent gave two months ' notice of its intention to declare the ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule to the said notification to be of national importance and a copy of the said notification was affixed in a conspicuous place near the said ancient monument ;
And, whereas, the copies of the said Gazette Notification was made available to the public on the 15th October, 2004;
And, whereas , no objections have been received from the public to the making of such declaration by the Central Government;
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section (3 ) of Section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archacological Sites and Remains Act , 1958 (24 of 1958) , the Central Government hereby declares the said ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule annexed hereto, to be of national importance .
