The Indian Standards Act, 1986 (63 of 1986). The Central Government hereby reconstitutes the Bureau of Indian Standards consisting of the following members, with effect from the date of publication of this notification and for that purpose makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies (Department of Civil Supplies) number S.O. 278(E) dt. 31st March, 1987.
