The National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), for the public purpose the land required for building (four laning) of National Highway No. 4 on the stretch from Km 27/600 to Km 86/450 (Chennai-Ranipet Section) in the State of Tamil Nadu, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land for the above said purpose.
