सा.का.नि. 49( अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, खान और खनिज (विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1957 ( 1957 का 67 ) की धारा 13 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, खनिज रियायत नियम, 1960 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम खनिज रियायत (संशोधन) नियम , 2005 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे । 2. खनिज रियायत नियम, 1960 के नियम 22 घ के अंत में निम्नलिखित परन्तुक जोड़ा जाएगा, अर्थात्:-
" परन्तु खनन पट्टे के नवीकरण की दशा में खनन पट्टे की मंजूरी के लिए न्यूनतम क्षेत्र के निर्बन्धन लागू नहीं होंगे" ।

प्रशान्त मेहता, संयुक्त सचिव टिप्पण.-मूल नियम सा.का.नि. 1398 तारीख 26-11-1960 द्वारा राजपत्र में प्रकाशित किए गए थे और इनमें अंतिम बार सा.का.नि. 329 ( अ) तारीख 10-4-2003 द्वारा संशोधन किया गया था ।

MINISTRY OF MINES NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 28th January, 2005
G.S.R. 49(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 13 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Mineral Concession Rules , 1960 , namely :-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Mineral Concession (Amendment ) Rules, 2005 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In rule 22D ofthe Mineral Concession Rules, 1960, the following proviso shall be added at the end, namely:-
"Provided that in the case of renewal ofmining lease, the restrictions of minimum area for grant ofmining lease shall not be applicable" .
