सं. 01 /89 /180/53 /एएम 01 /पीसी-1.क.- विदेश व्यापार नीति, 2004-2009 के पैराग्राफ 2.4 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, महानिदेशक, विदेश व्यापार, एतद्वारा , प्रक्रिया पुस्तक ( खण्ड-1 ) में निम्नलिखित परिवर्धन करते हैं :-
1. पैरा 2.32 के अन्त में निम्नलिखित पैरा जोड़ा जायेगा :
सभी तरह के धात्विक स्क्रैप जो 25-10-2004 को या उससे पहले भारत में आये हैं अथवा पोत लदान हुआ है तथा जिन्हें घरेलू खपत की अनुमति नहीं दी गयी है, उनके पास निम्नलिखित विकल्प होंगे :
(क ) परिशिष्ट-28 ( अनुलग्नक 1 ) में यथा- उल्लिखित पूर्व पोतलदान जाँच प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत करना, अथवा ( ख ) सीमा शुल्क परिपत्र सं. 56/2004 दिनांक 18-10-2004 के अनुसार खेप को 100 प्रतिशत वास्तविक जांच हेतु भेजना।
इसे लोकहित में जारी किया जाता है ।

F. No. 01 /89/ 180/ 53/ AM 01 /PC - 1.A.-- In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 , the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions in Handbook ofProcedures (Vol. 1 ) :-
1. At the end of Para 2.32 , the following paragraph will be added:
All kinds of metal scrap which has been shipped or has arrived in India on or before 25-10-2004 and has not been cleared for home consumption will be given the option to :
(a) produce a pre -shipment inspection certificate as laid down in Appendix - 28 ( Annexure - I ); or (b) subject the consignment to 100 % physical examination in terms of Custom Circular No. 56/2004 dated 18-10-2004 .
This issues in public interest .
