The Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948), the Central Government hereby declares that Shri D.K. Chaudhary, appointed as Business Unit Head, BESCL, a joint venture of NTPC and SAIL to manage the affairs of the BESCL, Captive Power Plant II, Bhilai Steel Plant, District Drug, Chhattisgarh, shall be deemed to be the occupier thereof, for the purpose of the Act.
