The National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority in respect of the stretches of land of the Districts, Talikas and Villages specified in the corresponding entries in the said Schedule for widening of Tamil Nadu/Kerala Border (Walayar) to Thrissur Section of the National Highways No. 47 in the State of Kerala.
