का.आ. 175( अ )-पशुधन आयात अधिनियम, 1898 ( 1898 का 9 ) के खंड-3 के उप- खंड ( 1 ) और खंड उए के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार हाइली पैथोजेनिक एवियन एंफ्लूएंजा के प्रकोप को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से एतद्वारा सभी देशों से भारत में निम्नलिखित पशुधन तथा पशुधन उत्पादों के आयात की प्रतिबंधित करती है, नामत : --
(i ) कैद पक्षियों सहित घरेलू और जंगली पक्षी;
( ii ) सूअर तथा सूअर मीट उत्पाद ( प्रसंस्करित सूअर मीट उत्पादों के अलावा ) ;
( iii ) जंगली पक्षियों सहित एवियन प्रजातियों का मांस एवं मांस उत्पाद ( प्रसंस्करित कुक्कुट मीट तथा कुक्कुट मीट उत्पादों के अलावा ) ;
( iv ) घरेलू और जंगली पक्षियों के वीर्य;
( v ) पशु आहार में उपयोगार्थ अथवा कृषि अथवा औद्योगिक उपयोग में प्रयोग के लिए पशु मूल ( पक्षियों से) उत्पाद ।
इसके अलावा, उक्त अधिनियम के खंड 3 के उप - खण्ड ( 1 ) तथा खण्ड ३ ए के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा हाइली पैथोजैनिक एवियन एंफ्लूएंजा ( फाउल प्लेग ) के प्रकोप से प्रभावित देशों से भारत में निम्नलिखित पशुधन एवं पशुधन उत्पादों के आयात पर भी प्रतिबंध लगाती है, नामत:-
( i ) एक दिन के पक्षी, बत्तखें , टर्की एवं अन्य नवजात चूजा प्रजातियां;
(ii) हैचिंग अंडे;
(iii ) अंडे तथा अंडा उत्पाद;
( iv ) जंगली पक्षियों सहित एवियन प्रजातियों का मांस एवं मांस उत्पाद;
(v) पंख;
(vi ) सूअर मीट उत्पाद;
(vii) पक्षियों से पैथोलोजिकल सामग्री एवं जैविकी उत्पाद ।

[PART II-SEC.3 (ii)] 2. यह प्रतिबंध इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से छः माह की अवधि तक या ऐसे समय में संशोधन अथवा वापसी तक जो भी पहले हो, लागू रहेगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th February, 2005
S.O. 175 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section ( 1 ) of Section 3 and Section 3 A of the Livestock Importation Act , 1898 ( 9 of 1898 ) , the Central Government hereby prohibits, with effect from date of publication of this notification, the import into India from all countries in view of the reported outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Fowl Plague) , the following livestock and livestock products , namely :-
(i) domestic and wild birds including the captive birds;
(ii) live pig and pig meat products ( except processed pig meat products) ;
(iii) meat and meat products from avian species including wild birds (except processed pouitry meat and poultry meat products);
(iv) semen of domestic and wild birds ;
(v) products of animal origin (from birds ) intended for use in animal feeding or for agricultural or industrial use .
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 and Section 3A of the said Act , the Central Government hereby prohibits also the import into India from the countries reporting the outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza ( Fowl Plague), the following livestock and livestock products , namely:-
(i) day old chicks , ducks , turkey and other newly hatched avian spccics;
(ii) hatching eggs ;
(iii) eggs and egg products ;
(iv) meat and meat products from avian species including wild birds ;
(v) feathers;
(vi) pig meat products ;
(vii) pathological material and biological products from birds.
2. The prohibition shall be in force for a period of six months from the date of publication of this notification or till such time it is modified or withdrawn , whichever is earlier.
