सा.का.नि. 66( अ) .- केन्द्रीय सरकार, वाणिज्य पोत परिवहन अधिनियम, 1958 ( 1958 का 44 ) की धारा 356 - ङ के साथ पठित धारा 356 - ण द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वाणिज्य पोत परिवहन ( तेल प्रदूषण उपकर का उद्ग्रहण ) नियम, 1988 का संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम वाणिज्य पोत परिवहन ( तेल प्रदूषण उपकर का उद्ग्रहण ) संशोधन नियम , 2005 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. वाणिज्य पोत परिवहन ( तेल प्रदूषण उपकर का उद्ग्रहण ) नियम , 1988 के नियम 3 के उपनियम ( 3 ) में " पी.ए.ओ. ( एनएच ) " अक्षर और कोष्ठक के स्थान पर " वेतन और लेखा अधिकारी ( पोत परिवहन ) " शब्द और कोष्ठक रखे जाएंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 11th February, 2005
G.S.R. 66(E) . In exercise of powers conferred by Section 356-0 read with Section 356 -M of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Merchant Shipping (Levy of OilPollution Cess ) Rules , 1988 , namely :-
1. ( 1) These rules may be called the Merchant Shipping (Levy of Oil Pollution Cess) Amendment Rules , 2005.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of the publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Merchant Shipping (Levy ofOil Pollution Cess) Rules , 1988 , in rule 3, in sub -rule (3 ), for the word, sign, letters and brackets " Pay & AO (NH) ", the words and brackets "Pay and Accounts Officer (Shipping) " shall be substituted.
