S.O. 225 (E ) .-- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) and in supersession ofthe notification of the Government of India, in the then Ministry of Road Transport andHighways, number S.O. 1207 (E) dated the 16th October, 2003 , in so far as it relates the competent authority mentioned against serial number 1 of the Schedule to that notification and the entries relating thereto , except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorizes theAdditional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) , Office ofthe Deputy Commissioner, Bongaigaon, Near Gandhi Maidan , District Bongaigaon, Assam , to perform the functions of competent authority under the said Act, with effect from thedate ofpublication of this notification in the OfficialGazette, in respect of stretch of land from km. 962.000 to km. 982.000 ofNH -31.

का.आ. 225( अ ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 48 ) की धारा 3 के खण्ड ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्या 1207 (अ ) तारीख 16 अक्तूबर, 2003 को अधिक्रांत करते हुए, उन बातों के सिवाय जिन्हें ऐसे अधिक्रमण के पूर्व किया गया है या करने से लोप किया गया है और जहां तक इसका संबंध अधिसूचना की अनुसूची के क्रम संख्यांक 1 के सामने उल्लिखित सक्षम प्राधिकारी और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों से है, इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से नीचेदी गई अनुसूची में यथा विनिर्दिष्ट राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग -31 के 962.000. कि.मी. से 982.000 कि.मी. तक के भूखण्ड के संबंध में, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त ( राजस्व) , उपायुक्त कार्यालय , बोंगईगांव, गांधी मैदान के निकट, जिला बोंगईगांव, असम को उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन सक्षम प्राधिकारी के कृत्यों का अनुपालन करने के लिए प्राधिकृत करती है ।
