का.आ. 233 ( अ).- भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड ( अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों की सेवा शर्तें ) नियमावली, 1992 के नियम 3 के साथ पठित भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड अधिनियम, 1992 ( 1992 का 15 ) की धारा 4 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्द्वारा श्री एम. दामोदरन, भा.प्र.से. ( एम.टी. 1971 ) , वर्तमान में भारतीय औद्योगिक विकास बैंक के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक को उनके द्वारा अध्यक्ष का पदभार ग्रहण करने की तिथि से तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए अथवा आगामी आदेशों तक, जो भी पहले हो, भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त करती है ।

New Delhi, the 18th February, 2005
S.O. 233 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India's Act, 1992 ( 15 of 1992 ), read with rule 3 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members ) Rules , 1992 , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri M. Damodaran, IAS (MT : 1971 ) , presently Chairman and Managing Director, Industrial Development Bank of India , as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India , for a period of three years from the date he assumes charge of the office of Chairman or until further orders , whichever is earlier.
