का.आ. 258( अ ).- आयकर अधिनियम, 1961 ( 1961 का 43) की धारा 10 के खण्ड ( 15 ) के उप- खण्ड ( iv ) की मद ( ज ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा वित्त वर्ष 2003-04 के दौरान मैसर्स नार्थ इस्टर्न इलैक्ट्रिक पावर कार्पोरेशन लिमिटेड, शिलांग द्वारा जारी तीस करोड़ रुपये मात्र की धनराशि के 6.25% प्रति वर्ष ब्याज दर वाले प्रत्येक 10,00,000 रुपए के कर - मुक्त बंध- पत्रों की दसवीं श्रृंखला को उक्त मद के प्रयोजनार्थ विनिर्दिष्ट करतीहैं:
बशर्ते कि उक्त मद के अन्तर्गत लाभ तभी ग्राह्य होगा यदिऐसे बंधपत्रों का धारक अपना/अपनी नाम तथा धृति उक्त निगम के पास पंजीकृत करता है ।

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th February, 2005
(INCOME-TAX)
S.O. 258 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by item (h) of sub -clause (iv ) of clause ( 15 ) of Section 10 of the Income -tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961 ) , the Central Government hereby specifies the 10th series of Tax free bonds of rupees 10,00,000 each, carrying an interest rate of 6.25% per annum , aggregating to an amount of Rupees thirty crores only, issued by M/ s. North Eastern Electric PowerCorporation Limited (NEEPCO), Shillong during the Financial Year 2003-04, for the purpose of the said item:
Provided that the benefit under the said item shall be admissible only if the holder of such bonds registers his /her name and the holding with the said Corporation.
